Bedding. How to choose correctly?
y?

as we’ve written before, the selection of bedding is vast, primarily in the quality of the materials used to make the sets and their intended use.
When choosing bedding, you can follow simple rules. Let’s say we’re choosing a set for everyday use. When purchasing, pay attention to the following:
• packaging and labeling. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the brand name, but the manufacturer should inspire confidence. There should also be information about the contents, fabric composition, and care instructions. Sizes are also included. The company’s labels and tags have a well-deserved reputation; you can verify this yourself by visiting the Altika Spektr website in Kyiv.
• the quality of the fabric and its density, if you can open the packaging.
• inspect the visible seams;
• absence/presence of foreign odors;
• bedding size: Based on your needs, refer to the sizes indicated on the packaging. If the sizes are not indicated on the label, this is a poor indicator when choosing bedding.
• You should like the design.
A quick tip on fabric density: fabrics are listed in descending order of density: Japanese silk, Chinese silk, satin, Turkish silk, linen, cotton, and cambric.
Important characteristics for bedding:
• “Breathability”: the material should allow air to pass through and promote heat exchange. This is important in both winter and summer. I don’t think anyone wants to feel like they’re in a swamp while sleeping.
• Durability. The fabric should withstand repeated washings while maintaining its shape and color. The denser the fabric and the higher the quality, the more durable it will be.
